Rock Cycle Webquest Rocks are everywhere. They have been on the earth for over four billion years. The rock you pick up from the ground might have once been part of a mountain or cave. It might have been around when dinosaurs roamed the earth or even tens of millions of years prior to that! Before you begin: Review Interactive Tour of the Rock Cycle
There are three kinds of rocks. The way they are formed determines the kind of rock that they are. Click on each kind to learn more information.
Igneous	Sedimentary	Metamorphic
1. Follow the directions on each page to complete the Rock Worksheet.
2. Play the Name that Rock game. Print the Name that Rock Worksheet and complete.
3. Go to the Rock Cycle and review "What Type of Rock Do I Have?"
