Mount Hekla

Mount Hekla is located in the South of Iceland, it is 4,892 feet tall and still rising, it is 40 km long . Hekla is a stratovolcano, and is the most active volcano in that part of the world. Hekla is on a ridge that also has other volcanos on it, it is about 40 km long. The largest eruption that it has ever been was in the BCE era.
